Episode 17 of our Digital Campus podcast is now available. In this episode, Dan, Tom, and I discuss the future of cell phones as platforms for educational purposes and what the pending entry of Google into the cell phone marketplace with Android will mean for the industry and consumers. And, as has been the case for several straight episodes, we take pot-shots at Facebook. Next episode is planned as a “Facebook free zone” (unless of course the good people at Facebook do something boneheaded between now and then). So, give it a listen and tell us what you think.

“cell phones as platforms” — Perhaps I’ve been grading too much and my eyes are deceiving me. What on earth could this be about? Well, no time to find out right now. That’s one disadvantage of the podcast medium. It demands a user listen from beginning to end instead of allowing him to do a quick scan of things.
