Digital Campus Grows

Posted on October 18, 2010 by Mills

The Digital Campus podcast has grown. What was once a three-way conversation between myself, Tom Scheinfeldt, and Dan Cohen, has grown into a four-way conversation that includes our regular irregular Amanda French. Our most recent episode just went live online and is the first to feature Amanda as a formal member of the podcast team. Regular listeners of the podcast will know that we almost always have something to say about Google but if I’m not mistaken, we managed to make it through an entire episode without any discussion of the ubiquitous search giant except in passing. Maybe Amanda is already exerting a good influence on us. Among the things we did discuss was the Gates Foundation’s announcement of a major grant to higher education focused on technology and student learning, the new Windows 7 version for mobile phones, and the story that made me the happiest–news of a mass migration from Second Life by colleges and universities. I feel so prescient. To find out all about what we discussed, though, you’ll have to listen.
