On vacation

Posted on July 25, 2006May 16, 2007 by Mills

Edwired will be on hiatus for the next couple of weeks while I soak up some badly needed R&R. While I’m gone, can I ask you to do me a favor? Will you go to the Hurricane Digital Memory Bank and contribute your own story about the Katrina/Rita disasters? You do not need to live on the Gulf coast or to have been personally effected by the hurricanes to write a memory for our archive. Everyone who watched these events unfold on the news last summer–or who has watched the continuing story of the aftermath of these storms–has a story to tell. Many of the contributors to this open archive are those who could only watch and worry.
