Second Podcast from Digital Campus

Posted on March 22, 2007 by Mills

The second installment of the Digital Campus podcast from CHNM is now up online. The topic this week is “The Old and the YouTube,” in which we discuss the use of YouTube in teaching. There are also some new and interesting featured websites to check out, and a continuation of our discussion of Wikipedia. Check it out and send us some feedback. One thing we know for sure–and which will be rectified for the next installment–is that I need a better microphone!

I just wanted to give you guys some feedback. I’ve enjoyed the first two podcasts and all of you speak clearly (not always a given w/’casts) and at a pace that works for casual listening. I was wondering, since you have a companion website, if it would be worthwhile to have a companion page or blog for the casts. It might help if/when you get to content that requires a link, or if there are images you want to post to support the spoken content. Nothing serious like a flash or anything, but something that would allow all of you to concentrate on the discussion without shifting into http-ese.

Just a thought. Looking forward to our other casts.
